Four of the “Purrfect Angelz”, Christy Hemme, Lisa Ligon, Crystal Colar and Kathy Smith, were former “Juggies” on “The Man Show”. Trace Adkins “Chrome” Video is what started their relationship with the country music industry. Lisa Ligon was chosen as the lead in “Chrome” and she convinced the Director, Michael Soloman, to use other “Angelz” as back-up dancers and to appear throughout the Video.
Christy Hemme, Maggie Cash and former “Angelz”, Jasmine and Dayna Patterson, appeared in “Chrome”. Shortly thereafter, Michael asked Lisa to play the lead for Trace’s “Hot Mamma” Video. Lisa played both the flustered Mom and the hot vixen. Brooks and Dunn cast the “Angelz” for their “Play Something Country” Video. Lisa again was the lead but this time as a brunette rather than a blonde. In order to turn the hip bar upside down, Lisa rounded up fellow “Angelz”, Tanea Brooks, Paige Peterson, Jen Anania, and Suzie Pollard.
Again Lisa went to work for Trace when she was asked to choreograph his hit video, “Honkytonk Badonkadonk”. Fifteen “Angelz” rocked this video with Tanea Brooks as the lead. Because of the popularity of “Honkytonk Badonkadonk”, Trace invited the “Angelz” to perform the song with him at the CMT Awards Show and the Academy of Country Music Awards Show. The producers of the CMT Series, “Foxworthy’s Big Night Out” noticed the “Angelz” at the CMT Awards Show and asked them to perform on their new show as “The Homewreckers”. “The Homewreckers”, Maggie Cash, Tanea Brooks, Deena Cary, Crystal Colar, Kerrilee Kaski, Lisa Ligon and Suzie Pollard, dance before and after commercial breaks and periodically perform throughout the Show. Lisa choreographs all of the dance routines for the “Homewreckers”. When David Hasselhoff was coaxed to sing on national television, the producers of the hit competition show, “America’s Got Talent” used “Angelz”, Crystal Colar, Paige Peterson and Laurie Milan, as dancers and back-up singers.
They definitely enhanced David’s performance.
